"Brilliant harmonies, brilliant band"

"The best harmonies I've heard since "The Eagles..."

"They are nothing but amazing"

"I cried my eyes out watching the show with Fluru..."

Fluru is a Swedish americana band formed in Stockholm in 2014. Members include Malin Hässlemark (vocals), Claes Hässlemark (guitar, vocals), Nicklas Poress (guitar, vocals), Robin Mossberg (bass guitar) and Jesper Lönn (drums, percussion). In a dialect from northern Sweden, Fluru means 'ragged'.

Over the past years, Fluru has developed a loyal following by playing live gigs around Sweden and also in Denmark and Holland. Crowds at the Folk at Heart festival in Örebro for example, said Fluru was the best band at the festival citing the band’s magical sound and engaging connection with the audience as reasons. Flurus sound has been compared to bands/artist such as Fleetwood Mac, The Eagles and Crosby, Stills & Nash.

In the spring of 2015 Fluru retreated to a cottage on the Swedish west coast with Erik Fernholm (‘Magician of Sound’) to record their first EP; "The Tallest Tree", that was released in January 2016. Ola Gustafsson (pedal steel guitar) are also featured on the album.
